What Baytia stores
Baytia stores favourites, cooked-recipe history, recent recipes and searches, cooking-profile preferences, meal plans, pantry and shopping items, cooking notes, recipe-quality feedback, timer state, and limited technical usage events in the app’s local storage. Those local usage events do not include your name, email address, or private note content.
What leaves your device
The current public version has remote analytics disabled and does not send your recipes, pantry, plans, notes, or local usage history to YSFMARK. There are no user accounts or app-managed cloud synchronisation. Feedback is sent only when you choose to send a message using your email service. Opening this website uses the website services described below.
Permissions and device services
Notification and exact-alarm permissions support cooking-timer alerts, where the operating system allows them. Vibration provides timer feedback. The app can restore timer scheduling after a device restart. Denying a permission may limit alerts; Android may restrict delivery. Baytia does not need your location, contacts, camera, or microphone for these features.
Backups and optional measurement
Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device settings. The Baytia team does not receive that backup. Active timer state and analytics-consent records are excluded from Android app backup/transfer. A future version that enables optional remote measurement will need an updated disclosure and the required in-app choices before collection starts; this policy does not activate that feature.
Advertising and purchases
The current public release does not serve advertising or provide a paid subscription. It does not collect an advertising ID for measurement. Store download and device-account records are managed by Google or Apple under their own policies.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains until you remove it through Baytia’s settings, clear app storage, or delete the app. Clearing local data does not erase device backups or support emails already sent. The data-deletion page explains each step. Cooking notes are private local content; do not include them in a support request unless necessary.
Who is responsible
YSFMARK is the developer name used by Youssef Azzi, an independent developer based in Morocco. For privacy questions or requests, contact ysfmark@gmail.com. This policy covers the app identified above and explains website/support processing when you use those services.
When you use our website or contact support
The website is hosted on our Hostinger VPS in France. Delivering and protecting the website requires processing network information such as your IP address, connection time, requested host, response status, and connection metadata. Routine access logs omit request URLs/query strings and request/response headers and rotate on a seven-day schedule. Restricted system/security logs rotate on a fourteen-day schedule; incident-related records may be kept as needed to resolve an incident or comply with law. Infrastructure backups expire on their backup rotation and may temporarily contain older operational records.
This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, embedded social feeds, or externally loaded fonts. Choosing a language changes the URL rather than setting a tracking cookie. Following a store or service link takes you to that provider’s site.
If you email us, Google/Gmail processes your email address, message, and attachments to deliver and store the correspondence. We use them to respond to your request, investigate a problem, or handle a privacy request. Keep messages limited to necessary information. Correspondence is kept while needed to resolve the request and legitimate follow-up, or for a legal requirement; you can ask for deletion. App data stored only on your device is not accessible to our support team.
Purposes, legal grounds, and transfers
We use information to provide the features you request, respond to support, maintain security and reliability, and comply with applicable law. Where a particular legal framework applies, grounds can include providing a requested service, legitimate interests in security and support, legal obligations, and consent for optional processing that requires it. We do not treat visiting this policy as consent to optional collection.
Hosting is in France; the developer operates in Morocco. Google, OpenWeather where relevant, email services, and their service providers may process data in other countries. Hosting the website in France does not mean every third-party app service processes data only in France. Relevant safeguards and your rights depend on the service and applicable law; contact us for information about your request.
Your rights and privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email us with the app name and enough information to identify the request; we do not require an app account to receive a privacy request. We aim to respond within 30 days and explain any lawful exception, necessary verification, or extension. You may also raise a concern with the competent data-protection authority, including Morocco’s CNDP where applicable.
Children, security, and changes
The apps do not ask children to supply a name, contact details, or identity documents to create an account. If a child has sent personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request review and deletion. This statement does not claim a children-only service, a particular age rating, or automatic exemption from rules governing advertising or children’s data.
We use HTTPS, limited access, and proportionate security safeguards. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security. A future account, payment, synchronisation, analytics, or permission feature needs appropriate disclosure and controls before it starts processing new data. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date and any additional notice or consent required by law.
