Scope and information used

Météo App is in development. This policy describes the reviewed version and needs review before store publication. When you search for a city, its name is sent to OpenWeather. When the app opens or you refresh local weather, and you allow device-location permission, the app obtains a current position and sends latitude and longitude to OpenWeather for the forecast. Coordinates can identify a precise location. You can use city search instead.

Recipients and network data

The current app communicates directly with api.openweathermap.org over HTTPS. OpenWeather receives the search or coordinates, request time, and network information including the source IP address. Weather icons may also be loaded from OpenWeather. OpenWeather’s own privacy policy applies to its processing and retention. No YSFMARK weather-proxy service or cloud user database is active in the reviewed version.

Location choices

You can deny or revoke location permission in device settings and use city search. The current feature requests a current position on opening the app or refreshing local weather. It does not implement continuous background location tracking or a location-history service.

Other data and retention

The reviewed version does not create accounts or include advertising or analytics SDKs. Weather results are held by the running app; no persistent personal location-history database was identified in the reviewed feature. Clear app data or delete the app to remove local information. This does not delete requests already handled by OpenWeather. Contact us about an identifiable request, or consult OpenWeather’s privacy contact for information it controls.

Who is responsible

YSFMARK is the developer name used by Youssef Azzi, an independent developer based in Morocco. For privacy questions or requests, contact ysfmark@gmail.com. This policy covers the app identified above and explains website/support processing when you use those services.

When you use our website or contact support

The website is hosted on our Hostinger VPS in France. Delivering and protecting the website requires processing network information such as your IP address, connection time, requested host, response status, and connection metadata. Routine access logs omit request URLs/query strings and request/response headers and rotate on a seven-day schedule. Restricted system/security logs rotate on a fourteen-day schedule; incident-related records may be kept as needed to resolve an incident or comply with law. Infrastructure backups expire on their backup rotation and may temporarily contain older operational records.

This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, embedded social feeds, or externally loaded fonts. Choosing a language changes the URL rather than setting a tracking cookie. Following a store or service link takes you to that provider’s site.

If you email us, Google/Gmail processes your email address, message, and attachments to deliver and store the correspondence. We use them to respond to your request, investigate a problem, or handle a privacy request. Keep messages limited to necessary information. Correspondence is kept while needed to resolve the request and legitimate follow-up, or for a legal requirement; you can ask for deletion. App data stored only on your device is not accessible to our support team.

Purposes, legal grounds, and transfers

We use information to provide the features you request, respond to support, maintain security and reliability, and comply with applicable law. Where a particular legal framework applies, grounds can include providing a requested service, legitimate interests in security and support, legal obligations, and consent for optional processing that requires it. We do not treat visiting this policy as consent to optional collection.

Hosting is in France; the developer operates in Morocco. Google, OpenWeather where relevant, email services, and their service providers may process data in other countries. Hosting the website in France does not mean every third-party app service processes data only in France. Relevant safeguards and your rights depend on the service and applicable law; contact us for information about your request.

Your rights and privacy requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email us with the app name and enough information to identify the request; we do not require an app account to receive a privacy request. We aim to respond within 30 days and explain any lawful exception, necessary verification, or extension. You may also raise a concern with the competent data-protection authority, including Morocco’s CNDP where applicable.

Children, security, and changes

The apps do not ask children to supply a name, contact details, or identity documents to create an account. If a child has sent personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request review and deletion. This statement does not claim a children-only service, a particular age rating, or automatic exemption from rules governing advertising or children’s data.

We use HTTPS, limited access, and proportionate security safeguards. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security. A future account, payment, synchronisation, analytics, or permission feature needs appropriate disclosure and controls before it starts processing new data. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date and any additional notice or consent required by law.
